Nik Aziz Nik Mat and Hadi Awang not only refuse to attend or host any Ponggal Festival but their which falls on February 14th.  Why non Muslims? Because in the recent past non-Muslims cannot wear cheongsam in Kedah, non Muslims cannot get their hair cut by members of the opposite sex at hairsalons in Kota Bharu, non Muslim couples cannot be jogging together or play in the park together.  So Valentine’s Day should be haram for non Muslims as well.
